My love of science started with the camping and outdoor experiences I had as a child. I grew up watching Jacques Cousteau and National geographic shows. I decided that Biology was my calling and enrolled at Michigan State univerisity. After working for several years in the field of biology, I decided to try to share my love of science by becoming a teacher. I attended Washington State university and graduated with a degree in education.
